The research and studies developed in this thesis work in Environmental Engineering are part of two specific research activities carried out in the Urban Planning Area of the Department of Materials Engineering, Environment and Urban Planning, SIMAU in institutional collaboration with the Municipalities of Falconara Marittima and the Municipality of Osimo in the province of Ancona. The collaboration for study activities, research, methodological and technical support - scientific for the drafting of the "Municipal Plan of the green" of the Municipality of Falconara and for the drafting of specialized studies in the field for the revision of the "General Regulatory Plan"PRG of the Municipality of Osimo. The activities were developed as part of the training internship entitled "Urban planning techniques and integrated methodologies for urban green planning and management, green infrastructure, natural-based solutions and ecosystem services for resilient cities" and have contributed to the drafting of specific urban planning tools of municipal value under approval. The work of "research-action"/applied research project have provided for moments of comparison and specific activities of technical scientific study applied in collaboration with managers and technicians of the technical areas Environment, Urban Planning and Special Projects of the two municipalities. In particular, we thank arch. Manuela Vecchietti and the arch. Alessandra Marincioni for the availability and professionalism demonstrated throughout the period of collaboration at the Laboratory of Urban Planning and Planning of the Urban Planning Area of the Simau department. The work of the master thesis is compared and reflects on the topics of technical innovation of planning practices and management of the territory and the city by investigating the intersectoral aspects of environmental objectives, biodiversity, soil protection and promotion and the sustainability of settlement patterns in city planning. The recent health and energy crisis and the rapid climate change in progress require us to reflect on new technical and cultural paradigms, on new ecological-functional equipment on new ecosystem services for the city, promoting more and more choices and natural-based technical solutions NBS, for the design of the contemporary city, learning from nature the technical mastery of resilience and the art of adaptation for a new urban culture of design and plan.
