The paper examines the theories of industrial development of Rostow and Gerschenkron, with particular reference to the case of the German revolution between the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries, with a focus on the steel sector as a driving factor of industrialization in Germany.

Nell'elaborato vengono esaminate le teorie dello sviluppo industriale di Rostow e Gerschenkron, con particolare riferimento al caso della rivoluzione tedesca tra il XVIII e il XIX secolo, con focus sul settore siderurgico come fattore propulsivo dell'industrializzazione in Germania.
