This thesis addresses the advantage of using music therapy, as a tool in the hands of the Professional Educator, within rehabilitation contexts, particularly in mental health. It analyses the history of marginality and of individuals excluded from society, highlighting the changes that have occurred in the transition from traditional conceptions to new scientific discoveries and laws that have revolutionised the modalities and concept of treatment. It will examine the bio-psycho-social model proposed by the WHO and the role of the professional educator in the process of care and inclusion of individuals with psychiatric pathologies The central theme concerns the potential of music therapy as an educational and rehabilitative medium; through the analysis of the history of music therapy, its applications and its role in educational and therapeutic contexts. Finally, the field experience of the music therapy project at the Residential Rehabilitation Facility (SRR) in Jesi will be examined to demonstrate how music therapy can increase and enhance the work of the professional educator, contributing to the inclusion and well-being of the users.
Questa tesi affronta il vantaggio dell’utilizzo della musicoterapia, come strumento nelle mani dell’Educatore Professionale, all’interno dei contesti riabilitativi, in particolare nella salute mentale. Analizza la storia della marginalità e dei soggetti esclusi dalla società, evidenziando i cambiamenti avvenuti nel passaggio dalle concezioni tradizionali alle nuove scoperte scientifiche e alle leggi che hanno rivoluzionato le modalità e il concetto di cura. Esaminerà il modello bio-psico-sociale proposto dall’ OMS e il ruolo dell'educatore professionale nel processo di cura e inclusione dei soggetti affetti da patologie psichiatriche Il tema centrale riguarda il potenziale della musicoterapia come mezzo educativo e riabilitativo; attraverso l'analisi della storia della musicoterapia, delle sue applicazioni e del suo ruolo nei contesti educativi e terapeutici. In fine sarà portata in esame l’esperienza sul campo del progetto di musicoterapia presso la Struttura Residenziale Riabilitativa (SRR) di Jesi, per dimostrare come la musicoterapia possa incrementare e potenziare il lavoro dell'educatore professionale, contribuendo all'inclusione e al benessere degli utenti.
