Tourism can represent a line of action through which the goal of sustainable development is pursued. By its nature, in fact, tourism has a systematic impact, as it tends to involve transversally the economy of the area in which it is addressed, with repercussions of a social, cultural and environmental nature. If it is true that tourism is a potential driver of wealth for the resident population, it is equally true that it does not have an equally neutral impact on the territory, since it orients local economic activity, consumes resources, requires adequate structuring and infrastructuring. The advent of tourism therefore represents a fundamental input for transformation for a territorial system, which must be appropriately addressed and internalized in order to generate value and lasting development. Light when everything is more and more imprescriptible. The impact of tourism on the territory depends, in fact, on the size and composition of the visitor flows, as well as on the tourist practices that motivate their stay in the area.

Il turismo può rappresentare una linea d’azione attraverso la quale si persegue l’obbiettivo di uno sviluppo sostenibile. Per sua natura, infatti, il turismo ha un impatto sistematico, in quanto tende a coinvolgere trasversalmente l’economia del territorio nel quale si indirizza, con ricadute anche di natura sociale , culturale ed ambientale. Se è vero che il turismo è un potenziale volano di ricchezza per la popolazione residente, è altrettanto vero che esso non ha un impatto altrettanto neutro sul territorio, poiché orienta attività economica locale, consuma risorse, richiede un’adeguata opera di strutturazione ed infrastrutturazione. L'avvento del turismo rappresenta, quindi, per un sistema territoriale, un input fondamentale di trasformazione, che deve essere opportunamente indirizzata ed interiorizzata al fine di generare valore e sviluppo durevole. La luce quando tutto risulti sempre più imprescrittibile. L’impatto del turismo sul territorio dipende, infatti, dall’entità e dalle composizioni dei flussi di visitatori, nonché dalle pratiche turistiche che motivano la loro permanenza sul territorio.
