This paper presents the analyses carried out on the neural networks of Drosophila melanogaster in the larval and adult state. The analyses carried out will focus on analysing the characteristics of the functional areas of the brain. In particular, we will analyse the centrality distributions of neurons, to assess their degree of interconnection in the respective areas; we will evaluate their degree of connectivity, studying the distribution of pathway lengths to reach certain neurons, and their distance, calculating how far apart the neurons are between them. The results presented will expose the transmissive capacities of the various areas and their efficiency. The analyses carried out in the larva and the adult are presented in a similar manner, so that so as to make it possible to compare the areas of the adult and larva with each other, highlighting their characteristics in common and their differences.
Il presente lavoro illustra le analisi svolte sulle reti neurali della Drosophila melanogaster in stato larvale e adulto. Le analisi svolte si concentreranno nell’analizzare le caratteristiche delle aree funzionali del cervello. In particolare, analizzeremo le distribuzioni di centralità dei neuroni, per valutare il loro grado di interconnessione nelle rispettive aree; valuteremo il loro grado di connettività, studiando la distribuzione delle lunghezze dei percorsi per raggiungere determinati neuroni, e la loro distanza, calcolando quanto sono distanti i neuroni tra loro. I risultati presentati esporranno le capacità trasmissive delle varie aree e la loro efficienza. Le analisi svolte nella larva e nell’adulta sono presentati in maniera analoga, in modo da rendere possibile confronti delle aree dell’adulta e della larva tra loro, evidenziando le loro caratteristiche in comune e le loro differenze.
