L'assistenza al paziente con infarto miocardico acuto: ruolo e competenze dell'infermiere

The topic addressed in the thesis refers to the nursing management of patients suffering from myocardial infarction. One of the reasons why I have described this object of study is because of my internship experience, where I was lucky enough to observe nursing interventions very closely, so it gave to me many starting points. In particular, the subject of this narrative review focuses on highlighting in detail the role and skills of the nurse, who constitutes a key figure in all moments of the assistance provided to these people: he carries out incisive actions for the patient's health at the time of diagnosis and in the execution of procedures such as coronary angiography and angioplasty, but also during hospitalization in cardiac intensive care and in the educational-rehabilitation process; Furthermore, is underlined the importance of providing global assistance, also based on the therapeutic relationship with the patient. The information written in the thesis come mainly from scientific research located in the Pubmed database, from the national health newspaper Nurse 24 and from some books that deal with the cardiological field. The main goals that have been achieved through this research are: having analyzed the complexity of nursing care in dealing with this pathology in all its phases; having managed to acquire greater knowledge from a scientific, but also professional, point of view.

Il tema affrontato nella tesi si riferisce alla gestione infermieristica del paziente colpito da infarto del miocardio. Una delle motivazioni, che mi ha spinto a descrivere tale oggetto di studio, deriva dalla mia esperienza di tirocinio, dove ho avuto la fortuna di osservare gli interventi infermieristici da molto vicino, traendone alcuni spunti di riflessione. In particolar modo, il focus di questa revisione narrativa si incentra sul mettere in evidenza in maniera dettagliata il ruolo e le competenze dell’infermiere, il quale costituisce una figura cardine in tutti gli istanti dell’assistenza prestata nei confronti di questi soggetti: esso svolge azioni incisive per la salute del paziente nel momento della diagnosi e nell’esecuzione di procedure come la coronarografia e l’angioplastica, ma anche durante il ricovero in terapia intensiva cardiologica e nel percorso educativo-riabilitativo; inoltre, si sottolinea la rilevanza di prestare un’ assistenza globale, basata altresì sulla relazione terapeutica con il paziente. Le nozioni presenti all’interno dell’elaborato derivano principalmente da ricerche scientifiche situate nella banca dati Pubmed, dal quotidiano sanitario nazionale Nurse 24 e da alcuni libri che trattano l’ambito cardiologico. I principali obiettivi che sono stati raggiunti attraverso questa ricerca sono: aver analizzato la complessità dell’assistenza infermieristica nel fronteggiare questa patologia in tutte le sue fasi; esser riuscito ad acquisire maggiori conoscenze dal punto di vista scientifico, ma anche professionale.
