Il mercato del lavoro moderno si trova ad affrontare una serie di sfide strutturali che ne influenzano la dinamicità e l’efficienza. Tra queste il fenomeno del mismatch rappresenta uno degli ostacoli principali alla piena occupazione e all’ottimale utilizzo delle risorse umane. Il termine “mismatch” nella sua definizione generale, indica la discrepanza tra le competenze richieste dalle imprese e quelle offerte dai lavoratori, dando alla luce un gap tra domanda e offerta che impatta negativamente sulla produttività, competitività aziendale e tasso di occupazione.
