In recent years, to be able to contribute to a more effective management of the disease, to manage pain and to maintain the dignity of an oncology patient, especially after receiving a diagnosis of an incurable disease, through the use of clinical indicators of systemic evaluation orientation of the disease and the complexity of the patient's needs, is not easy; therefore the population has acquired that awareness of palliative care that can no longer be done without. It is essential to associate the use of Simultaneous Care, to be able to monitor the level of pain of the patient, find solutions in its management and to allow the patient to receive that continuous therapeutic approach, in order to also promote the work of the nurse, who in this area takes on a fundamental role as he or she is not only responsible for administering therapies but also for replacing (in part) or increasing the role of family members in order to be able to remain close to the patient, support him or her and give him or her strength and accompany him or her until the end of his or her life.

Abstract
In recent years, to be able to contribute to a more effective management of the disease, to manage pain and to maintain the dignity of an oncology patient, especially after receiving a diagnosis of an incurable disease, through the use of clinical indicators of systemic evaluation orientation of the disease and the complexity of the patient's needs, is not easy; therefore the population has acquired that awareness of palliative care that can no longer be done without. It is essential to associate the use of Simultaneous Care, to be able to monitor the level of pain of the patient, find solutions in its management and to allow the patient to receive that continuous therapeutic approach, in order to also promote the work of the nurse, who in this area takes on a fundamental role as he or she is not only responsible for administering therapies but also for replacing (in part) or increasing the role of family members in order to be able to remain close to the patient, support him or her and give him or her strength and accompany him or her until the end of his or her life.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
