This thesis aims to analyze the theoretical and practical implications of this principle, with a specific focus on the role of the statutory auditor in identifying and managing business uncertainties. Through a purely theoretical analysis, the work highlights that the review process is not a mere regulatory compliance, but a strategic function to support the trust of stakeholders and the sustainability of companies.

Il principio della continuità aziendale rappresenta un elemento cardine nella redazione del bilancio e nella revisione legale dei conti. Questa tesi si propone di analizzare le implicazioni teoriche e pratiche legate a tale principio, con un focus specifico sul ruolo del revisore legale nell’identificazione e gestione delle incertezze aziendali. Attraverso un’analisi prettamente teorica il lavoro evidenzia come il processo di revisione non sia un mero adempimento normativo, ma una funzione strategica per sostenere la fiducia degli stakeholder e la sostenibilità delle imprese.
