L'ascesa della tecnologia finanziaria (FinTech) ha rimodellato il settore bancario, spostando le preferenze dei consumatori dalle istituzioni tradizionali a piattaforme digitali che offrono velocità, trasparenza e convenienza. Questa tesi esplora l'impatto dirompente di FinTech, concentrandosi su Wise (precedentemente Transferwise) come caso di studio. Sfruttando la tecnologia, Wise ha rivoluzionato i pagamenti transfrontalieri attraverso tassi di cambio competitivi, tasse basse e conti multi-valuta, per i liberi professionisti, gli espatriati e le imprese.
