This paper aims to analyze the impact of climate change not only from an environmental perspective, but also by exploring its profound effects on business strategies and operations. In this context, the distinctions between Green Marketing and Greenwashing will be explored. Through a comparative analysis of two significant case studies, their practical application will be illustrated: the ‘Don't Buy This Jacket’ advertising campaign by Patagonia will be examined as a virtuous example of Green Marketing, while the ‘H&M Conscious’ line will be critically analyzed as an emblematic case of Greenwashing
