HSP10, a particulary important protein which, through some studies, has made it possible to underline its indipendence in modulating protein aggregation during folding. In particular it is cited in neurodegenerative diseases (ND), associated with an accumulation of misfolded proteins (MPs). Abnormal folding and aggregation are associated with a large group of diseases. Although there is a lot of expanding research to date, diagnostic methods are still an enigma. The focus of the study is to investigate ifHSP10 is able to act autonomously in the modulation of fibrils in vitro.
HSP10, una proteina particolarmente importante che, attraverso alcuni studi ha permesso di sottolineare la sua indipendenza nel modulare l’aggregazione proteica durante il folding. Viene citata in particolar modo nelle malattie neurodegenerative (ND), associate proprio ad un accumulo di proteine misfolded (MP). Il ripiegamento e l’aggregazione proteica anomala, dunque, sono associate ad un ampio gruppo di malattie. Sebbene ad oggi ci sono numerose ricerche in espansione, i metodi diagnostici sono ancora un enigma. L’obiettivo dello studio è indagare se HSP10 è in grado di agire autonomamente nella modulazione di fibrille in vitro.
