EVOLUZIONE ED ALIMENTAZIONE UMANA

The aim of the paper is to best describe the change in human nutrition, particularly during the Pleistocene period. The gradual differentiation from Primates is expressed through archaeological finds, anatomical changes and daily habits of the time. The integration of animal foods in significant quantities, within the diet, is what allowed man to create the gap that exists today between him and all other animals, speaking mainly from a cerebral point of view. To reach the stated conclusions, numerous texts and articles were consulted, especially going into the "Expensive-tissue Hypothesis".

L'obbiettivo dell'elaborato è quello di descrivere al meglio il cambio dell'alimentazione umana, in particolare durante il periodo del Pleistocene. Attraverso reperti archeologici, cambiamenti anatomici ed abitudini quotidiane dell'epoca viene espressa la graduale differenziazione dai Primati. L'integrazione di alimenti animali in quantità importanti, all'interno della dieta, è ciò che ha permesso a l'uomo di realizzare il divario che oggi è presente tra lui e tutti gli altri animali, parlando principalmente da un punto di vista cerebrale. Per arrivare alle conclusioni enunciate si sono consultati numerosi testi ed articoli, andando ad approfondire soprattutto la "Expensive-tissue Hypothesis".
