PROGETTO DI SOSTENIBILITÀ NEL CICLO LOGISTICO DEI PALLET PRESSO MANUFACTURE DES ACCESSOIRES LOUIS VUITTON SRL

Sustainability is increasingly involving chain processes of the value, of a product or service, to all companies. In particular, in companies such as Louis Vuitton, the concepts of environmental, economic, they are a focal point for the company’s vision and goals. Louis Vuitton, extends these principles in every production site. In the company MALV SRL of Corropoli, for example, the importance of sustainability and safety has led to the re-evaluation of processes that are at the basis of the operation company. This study, carried out in the company MALV SRL, in the logistics department, aims to identify differences between three types of pallets that can be used in the logistics between the company and its subcontractors, for material handling. EPAL pallets, PP (polypropylene) pallets and HDPE pallets were examined (High-Density Polyethylene). Through the Environmental Impact Analysis, it was possible to identify the life cycle of a pallet and the impacts of materials and production processes. From this analysis it was deduced that the pallet made of HDPE, in an arc long-term storm, generates minor impacts. By means of the Cost Analysis, it was calculated what are the cost components which have the greatest impact on the total cost and it has been concluded that the investment, more cost-effective, looked at with a future vision, is what involves pallets in HDPE

La sostenibilità sta coinvolgendo sempre di più i processi appartenenti alla catena del valore, di un prodotto o di un servizio, all’intero delle aziende. In particolare, in aziende come Louis Vuitton, i concetti di sostenibilità ambientale, sociale ed economica, sono un fulcro per la visione e per gli obiettivi aziendali. Louis Vuitton, estende questi principi in ogni sede produttiva. Nell’azienda MALV SRL di Corropoli, ad esempio, l’importanza della sostenibilità e della sicurezza ha portato ad una rivalutazione di processi che sono alla base del funzionamento aziendale. Questo studio, effettuato nell’azienda MALV SRL, nel reparto della logistica, mira ad individuare le differenze tra tre tipologie di pallet utilizzabili nel flusso logistico tra l’azienda e i terzisti, per la movimentazione di materiali. Si sono presi in esame pallet EPAL, pallet in PP (polipropilene), e pallet in HDPE (High-Density Polyethylene). Attraverso l'Analisi degli Impatti Ambientali, è stato possibile identificare le fasi del Ciclo di Vita di un pallet e gli impatti dei materiali e dei processi produttivi. Da questa analisi si è dedotto che il pallet realizzato in HDPE, in un arco temporale di lungo termine, genera minori impatti. Per mezzo dell’Analisi dei Costi, si è calcolato quali sono le componenti di costo che influiscono di più sul costo totale e si è arrivati alla conclusione che l’investimento, più conveniente, guardato con una visione futura, è quello che coinvolge i pallet in HDPE
