Introduction: A new Coronavirus, called SARS-COV-2, has been discovered. It is transmitted by droplets, people have major symptoms of fever and severe acute respiratory distress, and the elderly and people with previous medical conditions are more at risk. Objective: The objective of the study is to analyze how the National Federation of Orders of the Nursing Profession, FNOPI, has been alongside nurses during the pandemic to protect and support them, enhancing the profession itself. Materials and Methods: A careful reading of articles was conducted, from March 2021 to March 2020, on the FNOPI website, to obtain information on the type of technical and institutional support. Introduzione: Un nuovo Coronavirus , chiamato SARS-COV-2, è stato scoperto. Si trasmette per droplets , le persone presentano principali sintomi di febbre e difficoltà respiratoria acuta grave e gli anziani e le persone con patologie pregresse sono più a rischio. Obiettivo: L’obiettivo dello studio è analizzare come la Federazione Nazionale degli Ordini della Professione Infermieristica, FNOPI , sia stata a fianco degli infermieri durante la pandemia per proteggerli e sostenerli, valorizzando la professione stessa. Materiali e Metodi: È stata condotta un’attenta lettura di articoli, da Marzo 2021 a Marzo 2020, sul sito della FNOPI , per trarre informazioni sul tipo di sostegno a livello tecnico e istituzionali. Discussione: L’infezione da COVID-19 ha portato ad affrontare una rapida riorganizzazione dei processi assistenziali evidenziando tutte le carenze che da anni gli infermieri combattono, anche sul piano di valorizzazione della professione.
