This thesis examines the Italian economic history from national unification to the postwar period, focusing on the economic miracle and the crisis of the 1970s. It analyzes industrialization, public policies, and regional disparities, showing how Italy, despite becoming an industrial power, retained unresolved structural weaknesses.
La tesi ripercorre la storia economica italiana dall’Unità al secondo dopoguerra, fino al miracolo economico e alla crisi degli anni Settanta. Vengono analizzati industrializzazione, politiche pubbliche e squilibri territoriali, mettendo in luce come l’Italia, pur divenuta potenza industriale, abbia mantenuto irrisolti nodi strutturali.
