The thesis refers to the key principles of healthcare ethics (autonomy, beneficence, non-maleficence, justice) and the main ethical guidelines to be followed in the practice of the profession (Professional Profile, Code of Ethics and Ethical Constitution). In addition, the most common ethical dilemmas in clinical speech therapy practice are addressed, along with the legal and professional implications of violating ethical principles. Tools for the ethical practice of this profession and models for ethics education within university courses are also proposed. The research was conducted through the analysis of literature, national regulatory documents, and specific codes of ethics governing the speech therapy profession in Italy. The thesis integrates theoretical and practical contributions, including illustrative clinical cases drawn from the literature and academic discussions on the most frequent ethical dilemmas.
