Double Diagnosis, understood as the co-presence of a psychiatric disorder and pathological addiction, represents one of the most complex and delicate challenges for professionals employed in treatment courses. This thesis delves into the topic of Double Diagnosis with the aim of exploring the educational role within the paths of taking charge and rehabilitation, underlining the importance of an integrated and multidisciplinary approach. The work is based on an analysis of texts, articles and online sources, through which the main theoretical, relational and organizational aspects linked to the care of people with Double Diagnosis were examined. The application part of the thesis presents an educational project carried out during the internship, aimed at promoting personal awareness and change of users with Double Diagnosis to whom it was aimed, through group and relational activities. The concluding reflections highlight how the educational intervention, if included in a network of collaboration between the different professionals, can represent an element of fundamental integration in the therapeutic and rehabilitation process. The title "More than the sum of the individual parts" recalls precisely this perspective: only through a systematic and relational vision is it possible to educate in the complexity of Double Diagnoses.
