This master’s thesis, titled “Feeding the Future: The Rise of Sustainable Startups in the Food Industry,” explores how sustainability-driven entrepreneurship is contributing to the transformation of the European food system. The work was inspired by my academic experience at the Università Politecnica delle Marche (UNIVPM), especially during the course Business Startup. This course showed me how entrepreneurial thinking can be used not only to generate profit but also to address complex social and environmental challenges. Coming from practical work experience in the food industry, I felt motivated to connect my professional background with academic knowledge, and to study how startups can create business models that are both sustainable and competitive, generating additional value for people and society.
