LA MANODOPERA NELLE AZIENDE AGRICOLE ITALIANE: UN’ANALISI DESCRITTIVA ED ECONOMETRICA DEI DATI RICA

The purpose of this thesis is therefore to provide a starting point for the study of agricultural employment issues and possible solutions. In the first section, the topic is analysed through an in-depth statistical description based on a sample of data collected by the Farm Accountancy Data Network (FADN). In the following pages, the productivity and profitability of agricultural labour are investigated through the creation of a model that correlates them with possible causal factors. Finally, regression analysis is also applied to the evaluation of variables involved in determining the number of people employed in the agricultural sector. The relationship between these economic indicators and the intrinsic and extrinsic characteristics of agricultural enterprises will be fundamental for the implementation of hypothetical solutions to the numerous problems afflicting the sector.

Lo scopo della presente tesi è quindi quello di fornire un punto di partenza per lo studio delle problematiche dell’occupazione agricola e delle relative soluzioni possibili. In una prima sezione, il tema viene analizzato attraverso un’approfondita descrizione statistica basata sul campione di dati raccolti nella Rete di Informazione Contabile Agricola (RICA). Nelle pagine successive, vengono indagate la produttività e la redditività della manodopera agricola attraverso la predisposizione di un modello che le correli a possibili fattori causali. Da ultimo, l’analisi di regressione viene applicata anche alla valutazione di variabili implicate nel condizionamento del numero di occupati nel settore agricolo. La relazione che lega questi indicatori economici alle caratteristiche intrinseche ed estrinseche delle imprese agrarie sarà fondamentale per la messa in atto di ipotetici interventi risolutivi dei numerosi problemi che affliggono il settore.
