BCE e FED: la politica monetaria nella crisi da coronavirus

This study analyses the monetary that have been implemented by the European Central Bank and the Federal Reserve in the early stages of the coronavirus crisis. The study defines the role that these two central banks perform to fulfill the goals set and their reaction to the impact of the virus on the economic system. In the final analysis, a comparison is made with the policies undertaken by the respective banks during the financial crisis of 2008, deepening similarities and differences.

Il presente lavoro analizza le politiche monetarie che sono state messe in atto dalla Banca Centrale Europea e dalla Federal Reserve nelle prime fasi della crisi da coronavirus. Si è definito il ruolo che queste due banche centrali svolgono per adempiere agli obiettivi stabiliti e la loro reazione all’impatto del virus sul sistema economico. In ultima analisi, si effettua un confronto con le politiche intraprese dalle rispettive banche nella crisi finanziaria del 2008, approfondendo analogie e differenze.
