LA GESTIONE LEAN DELL'INDUSTRIA MANIFATTURA IN AMBIENTE INDUSTRY 4.0

The thesis concerns Lean Manufacturing and Industry 4.0. It is illustrated through three chapters: the first concerning Lean Manufacturing, the second Industry 4.0 and the third describes their cohesion, their differences by analyzing the methods used. With regard to Lean Production, its origin, its basic principles that characterize it, the methods used, the advantages will be studied and an example of a large Italian company that works through this philosophy, Lamborghini, will also be illustrated. The second chapter, however, speaks of the Factory of the Future: its origins, its pillars, its expansion in Italy. In addition, a problem concerning Industry 4.0 will be analyzed, namely the problem of IT security and finally the changes it has brought with its birth. The third and final chapter explains the connection that exists between these two philosophies, analyzing above all the points of agreement and disagreement. The thesis, the final part, the bibliography and the thanks conclude. I focused mainly on the two philosophies studying them through the methodologies to be used, with examples and tracing what are the benefits and therefore the positive aspects.

La tesi riguarda la Lean Manufacturing e l' Industry 4.0. Viene illustrata tramite tre capitoli: il primo riguardante la Lean Manufacturing, il secondo l'Industria 4.0 ed il terzo descrive la loro coesione, le loro differenze andando ad analizzare i metodi utilizzati. Riguardo la Produzione Snella, si studierà la sua origine, i suoi principi basilari che la caratterizzano, i metodi utilizzati, i vantaggi ed inoltre si illustrerà un esempio di una grande azienda italiana che lavora tramite questa filosofia, la Lamborghini. Il secondo capitolo, invece, parla della Fabbrica del Futuro: le sue origini, i suoi pilastri, la sua espansione in Italia. Inoltre, verrà analizzato un problema riguardante proprio l'Industria 4.0, ovvero il problema della sicurezza informatica ed infine i cambiamenti che ha portato con la sua nascita. Il terzo ed ultimo capitolo spiega la connessione che esiste tra queste due filosofie, analizzando soprattutto i punti di accordo e di disaccordo. Concludono la tesi, la parte finale, la bibliografia e i ringraziamenti. Mi sono soffermata soprattutto sulle due filosofie studiandole tramite le metodologie da loro utilizzare, con esempi e tracciando quelli che sono i benefici e quindi gli aspetti positivi.
