This thesis focuses on the study and optimization, using Digital Light Processing technology, of an elegant shoe sole characterized by a high level of geometric and surface detail. The assignment is part of the broader context of additive manufacturing applied to the footwear industry, a field in which the ability to create customized components, complex geometries, and high-definition surfaces represents a significant innovation compared to traditional production processes. The work was conducted with an experimental approach. After a preliminary assessment of technical feasibility, the experimental work continued with five prints, during which the printing parameters were modified based on the results obtained each time. The results obtained confirm the validity of DLP technology for the creation of footwear prototypes with high aesthetic and geometric content, especially when fine details, defined edges, and good surface quality are required. The key parameters to be controlled and the critical areas to be optimized were also identified, thus providing a useful experimental basis for future developments.
