La tesi analizza l'evoluzione della moneta digitale, esplorando i trade-off strutturali ed economici tra il sistema fiat tradizionale, l'inelasticità del Bitcoin, il controllo delle CBDC e il fragile compromesso delle stablecoin. Il lavoro conclude che il futuro finanziario sarà inevitabilmente ibrido, segnato dal paradosso di un'adozione di massa che tradisce l'ideale decentralizzato per affidarsi a nuovi intermediari centralizzati.
