Interest in natural wines has grown significantly in recent years, driven by increasing consumer attention to sustainability, authenticity, and the quality of agri-food products. However, perceptions of natural wines remain heterogeneous and are influenced by cultural and social factors. The aim of this research is to analyse and compare the perceptions of Italian and French experts regarding natural wines. The study adopts a mixed-methods approach. In the first phase, a questionnaire will be administered to investigate participants' knowledge, perceptions, and opinions regarding this phenomenon. Subsequently, Q-methodology will be employed to identify the main subjective viewpoints on natural wines, highlighting the different perspectives emerging in the two countries. The integration of the findings will provide a deeper understanding of the factors shaping perceptions of natural wines and will identify potential differences between Italy and France, offering useful insights for both academic research and stakeholders in the wine sector.
