This thesis analyses historical data related to the OP40 assembly line, with the aim of identifying and classifying anomalous sequences recorded during the operation of the plant. The main issue addressed concerns the presence of consecutive anomalous records which, if considered individually, may lead to an overestimation of the actual number of anomalies. For this reason, a data processing procedure was developed through the combined use of Python and RapidMiner, aimed at data cleaning, the identification of anomalous conditions, and the transformation of repetitive records into distinct events. The final dataset obtained makes it possible to analyse each event according to the substation involved, the fault code, the start time, the end time, and the overall duration. The subsequent aggregations allowed the most critical stations and codes to be identified, distinguishing between frequent anomalies and anomalies characterised by long durations. The work carried out therefore represents a useful basis for supporting diagnostic analysis, maintenance activities, and continuous improvement of the production line.
