This thesis illustrates the various phases involved in designing an HVAC system in the context of the energy transition, analyzing the specific case of a school gymnasium, an environment characterized by substantial ventilation requirements. Starting from an analysis of the regulatory framework and the directives on energy performance, high-efficiency and low-environmental-impact HVAC technologies suited to the case under examination are identified. This is followed by a characterization of the building through the calculation of the airflow rate needed to meet the thermal loads, which is fundamental for selecting the generation system, together with the calculation of the outdoor air rate. The work then proceeds with the selection and sizing of the components of the distribution network and of the supply and extract air systems. Finally, the unit model that meets the project requirements is identified.

Abstract
Finally, the unit model that meets the project requirements is identified.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
