Progettazione e implementazione di un'app Android a supporto di uno stabilimento balneare nell'era del Covid-19

In recent years we have witnessed a software and hardware development that has led to the creation of mobile devices capable of offering very high performance in small size. Smartphones, as we know them today, provide an application for almost anything. In the situation created by the COVID-19, smartphones, and applications connected to them, have been the most used means of communication and smartworking. This thesis take place in this scenario. In fact, it describes the design and implementation of an app, specifically an administrative, for the management of a beach resort at the time of COVID-19. This app allows the customer to access all the information about the beachresort as well as to make a reservation in the facility, all directly from their smartphone. For the implementation of this app we started from a study on the context of reference and then move to an in-depth analysis of the requirements and design; the implementation was through the appropriate dedicated tools. In conclusion, the thesis concludes with a discussion on the work done by analyzing the knowledge learned, the opportunities and possible improvements.

Negli scorsi anni si è assistito ad uno sviluppo software e hardware che ha portato alla creazione di dispositivi mobili capaci di offrire prestazioni molto elevate in dimensioni contenute. Gli smartphone, come li conosciamo oggi, mettono a disposizione un’applicazione praticamente per ogni cosa. Nella situazione creatasi a causa del COVID-19, gli smartphone, e le applicazioni ad essi connesse, sono stati i mezzi più utilizzati per la comunicazione e lo smartworking. Questa tesi si colloca proprio in questo scenario. Infatti, in essa, vengono descritte la progettazione e l’implementazione di un’app, nello specifico un gestionale, per la gestione di uno stabilimento balneare ai tempi del COVID-19. Tale app permette al cliente di accedere a tutte le informazioni relative allo stabilimento nonché di effettuare una prenotazione nella struttura, il tutto direttamente dal proprio smartphone. Per la realizzazione di tale app si è partiti da uno studio sul contesto di riferimento per poi passare ad un’analisi approfondita dei requisiti e alla progettazione; l’implementazione è avvenuta attraverso gli opportuni strumenti dedicati. La tesi si conclude, infine, con una discussione in merito al lavoro svolto analizzando le nozioni apprese, le opportunità ed i possibili miglioramenti.
