Analisi AS-IS e TO-BE di una linea di produzione semiautomatica: dalla catena di montaggio al layout ad isole. Il caso di una azienda calzaturiera.

This thesis work, the result of a 6-month experience at an Italian company that is a world leader in the fashion sector, aims to illustrate the first steps taken towards the construction of a new production plant. In particular, some of the elements that contributed to the achievement of the first of the 5 milestones necessary to be prepared for the start-up of the new production center will be presented. We will therefore focus on issues related to the definition of the production layouts of the new plant. The following will therefore be presented in the report: an analysis of the current production situation, understood as the layout currently used to carry out the production of shoes; an analysis of the production situation that will be implemented from the end of 2022; and finally, a comparison between the two situations in order to highlight the current inefficiencies and future improvements, in terms of productivity and flexibility, which will occur with the transition to the new production layout.

Questo lavoro di tesi, frutto di una esperienza di 6 mesi presso un'azienda italiana leader mondiale nel settore moda, si pone come obiettivo quello di illustrare i primi passi svolti verso la realizzazione di un nuovo plant produttivo. In particolare, si presenteranno alcuni degli elementi che hanno contribuito al raggiungimento del primo dei 5 milestones necessari per arrivare preparati all’avvio del nuovo polo produttivo. Ci si concentrerà, quindi, su temi legati alla definizione dei layout produttivi del nuovo plant. Si presenteranno, quindi, nell’elaborato: un’analisi della situazione produttiva attuale, intesa come layout correntemente utilizzato per espletare la produzione di scarpe; un’analisi della situazione produttiva che verrà implementata da fine 2022; e infine, un confronto tra le due situazioni al fine di evidenziare le attuali inefficienze e i futuri miglioramenti, in quanto a produttività e flessibilità, che si avranno con il passaggio al nuovo layout produttivo.
