Gestione della fistola artero-venosa nativa e della fistola artero-venosa protesica: esiti infermieristici. Una narrative review.

This thesis is a narrative review and aims to examine the comparison between the native and the prosthetic arteriovenous fistulas. Through the consultation of the available literature it was possibile to affirm that the native fistula has superior outcomes compared to the prosthetic one. The main complications of the two types of access were also analysed to identify what scientific evidence reports about their monitoring and management.

L'elaborato di tesi è una narrative review e indaga il confronto tra le due tipologie di fistola arterovenosa esistenti. Attraverso la consultazione della letteratura disponibile è stato possibile affermare la superiorità della fistola nativa su quella protesica. Sono poi state approfondite le principali complicanze dei due tipi di accesso per identificare cosa riportano le evidenze in merito al monitoraggio e alla gestione.
