The aim of this thesis is to propose and optimize a simple method to produce the β-amyloid protein by recombinant means, in order to study its early aggregation processes using DLS and SAXS techniques. Furthermore, thanks to the depsipeptide technology, a structural analysis of the peptide was carried out with SAXS and ATR-FTIR techniques.
Lo scopo di questa tesi è proporre e ottimizzare un semplice metodo per produrre la proteina β-amiloide per via ricombinante, al fine di studiarne i processi precoci di aggregazione mediante tecniche DLS e SAXS. Inoltre, grazie alla tecnologia del depsipeptide, è stata svolta un’analisi strutturale del peptide con tecniche SAXS e ATR-FTIR
