IMPATTI ANTROPOGENICI MULTIPLI SU ECOSISTEMI MARINI DELLE ISOLE GALAPAGOS

The marine ecosystem is very particular and reactive to stress factors introduced by man. With regard to this topic, a review study was carried out on particular ecosystems such as that of the Galápagos Islands: it was possible to deduce that although the delicate balance present there is partly capable of compensating for the aggressive factor introduced, at the moment the probability that it may end up breaking. As a result, all this would put at risk the existence of many organisms present and consequently the balance on a larger scale, ending up affecting man himself. A much more careful policy of safeguarding these environments and the establishment of strict rules that limit the anthropic impact on them as much as possible are therefore essential.

L’ecosistema marino è molto particolare e reattivo ai fattori di stress introdotti dall’uomo. In merito a questa tematica è stato compiuto uno studio di revisione su ecosistemi particolari come quello delle Isole Galápagos: è stato possibile dedurre che nonostante il delicato equilibrio ivi presente sia in parte capace di compensare l’aggressivo fattore introdotto, al momento risulta elevata la probabilità che esso possa arrivare a rompersi. Come esito, tutto ciò metterebbe a rischio l’esistenza di moltissimi organismi presenti e di conseguenza l’equilibrio su più larga scala, finendo per colpire l’uomo stesso. Risultano quindi indispensabili una molto più accorta politica di salvaguardia di questi ambienti e l’istituzione di regole ferree che limitino il più possibile l'impatto antropico sugli stessi.
