This case report investigates the effectiveness of virtual reality in the upper limb rehabilitation of an over-eighty-year-old stroke patient. Using an A-B-A protocol based on task-oriented exercises, the study evaluates functional recovery and patient motivation, comparing traditional therapy with the Khymeia VRRS Evo 2011 system.
Il presente case report esplora l'efficacia della realtà virtuale nella riabilitazione dell’arto superiore in una paziente ultraottantenne con esiti di ictus. Attraverso un protocollo A-B-A basato su esercizi task-oriented, lo studio valuta il recupero funzionale e la motivazione della paziente, confrontando l’approccio tradizionale con l’uso del sistema Khymeia VRRS Evo 2011.
