Introduction Continuing professional development (CPD) is a strategic tool for enhancing healthcare professionals’ competencies and improving the quality of care. To effectively achieve these objectives, training management should be supported by structured organizational processes and appropriate tools capable of ensuring alignment between training needs, organizational goals, and the planning of educational activities. Aim To design an organizational procedure for the management of the Corporate Training Plan (CTP) of the Nursing and Midwifery Department of AST Fermo, aimed at formalizing a process that was already well established in organizational practice but had not previously been documented in a specific institutional procedure. Materials and Methods The project was developed during the internship of the Master's Degree Programme in Nursing and Midwifery Sciences at the Health Professions Department of AST Fermo. The project was carried out in two phases: a descriptive phase, conducted between December 2025 and March 2026, including the analysis of the existing organizational process, the relevant regulatory framework, the scientific literature, and the documentation adopted by other Italian healthcare organizations; and a design phase, conducted between March and April 2026, aimed at developing the organizational procedure. Results An organizational procedure for the management of the Corporate Training Plan of the Nursing and Midwifery Department was developed according to the organization's document format. The procedure defines the operational phases of the process, from training needs assessment to the planning and implementation of educational activities, identifying the roles and responsibilities of the stakeholders involved while introducing monitoring and evaluation tools to support the process. Conclusions The proposed procedure enables the formalization and standardization of the Corporate Training Plan management process, promoting greater organizational clarity, improved traceability of activities, and stronger support for continuing professional development governance. In addition, two operational tools for training evaluation were developed: one aimed at assessing participants' perceived training needs before the educational intervention, and the other designed to evaluate the transfer of learning into professional practice. Together, these tools are intended to support a more comprehensive monitoring of the effectiveness of educational interventions.
