The evolution of the diagnostic technical health professions and the increasing organizational complexity of the Italian National Health Service highlight the need for continuous professional development and advanced education that is more compatible with professional activities. In this context, this thesis investigates the educational needs and the main critical issues perceived by diagnostic technical health professionals in relation to postgraduate education, with particular attention to the potential development of an Executive-type educational model. The study was conducted through an anonymous and voluntary online questionnaire addressed to diagnostic technical health professionals. The survey investigated participants’ relationship with the Master’s Degree, educational needs, difficulties in combining work and education, perceptions of the professional value of postgraduate education, and interest in a possible Executive model characterized by greater organizational and educational flexibility. A total of 179 responses were collected. The analysis included descriptive statistics and inferential analyses to investigate differences in interest in the Executive model according to participants’ relationship with the Master’s Degree. The results showed a high overall level of interest in a possible Executive model, with a mean score of 4.19 out of 5 and 80.8% of respondents reporting a score of 4 or 5. The most frequently requested features included distance-learning opportunities, reduced mandatory attendance, and greater integration between professional activity and education. Blended learning was the most preferred educational format. A statistically significant difference in interest in the Executive model was observed according to participants’ relationship with the Master’s Degree (Kruskal-Wallis test, H=23.794; p=0.00024). Based on these findings, the thesis proposes a possible Executive model for the Master’s Degree in Diagnostic Technical Health Professions, aimed at valuing professional experience, increasing flexibility in attendance, and strengthening the integration between university education, professional practice, and healthcare organizational contexts. The proposed model represents a preliminary design perspective that should be further assessed in terms of feasibility and sustainability.
Sono state raccolte complessivamente 179 risposte.
