This thesis analyses the hydrogeological monitoring of the Ancona landslide, in the Posatora area, between January and September 2026. Data from three piezometers, a soil moisture sensor between 5 and 115 cm, two weather stations and four municipal flow meters were integrated with field surveys along the drainage ditch network, and the five most significant rainfall events were analysed in detail. The unsaturated zone responded to rainfall down to 45 cm depth, whereas the piezometers showed a clear response only in January, a markedly wet month. No visible flow was observed during the summer surveys. The results point to a significant role of antecedent moisture conditions and provide indications for the continuation of the monitoring

Abstract
This thesis analyses the hydrogeological monitoring of the Ancona landslide, in the Posatora area, between January and September 2026. Data from three piezometers, a soil moisture sensor between 5 and 115 cm, two weather stations and four municipal flow meters were integrated with field surveys along the drainage ditch network, and the five most significant rainfall events were analysed in detail. The unsaturated zone responded to rainfall down to 45 cm depth, whereas the piezometers showed a clear response only in January, a markedly wet month. No visible flow was observed during the summer surveys.
