This work describes the development of software based on the Nordic nRF52832 SoC for wireless monitoring applications in high-voltage electrical substations. The implemented system consists of a peripheral node and a central node. The peripheral node acquires data from the Murata SCL3300 inclinometer sensor via an SPI interface and transmits it to the central node using the Nordic UART Service (NUS), employing optimized binary payloads to reduce radio traffic and power consumption. BLE communication has been secured through the implementation of an authenticated pairing procedure with a BT SECURITY L3 security level. The passkey used during pairing is derived via the SHA-256 algorithm from a shared secret string and the peripheral device's MAC address. The results obtained confirm the feasibility of using the nRF52832 SoC as a single platform for sensor management and secure BLE communication in low-power industrial applications.
