The project started with the creation (in Solidworks) of the 3D model of trabecular wheel which has been currently made by the FormLabs Form2 printer. Subsequently, the wheel was subjected to a series of experimental tests through which was possible to obtain (in testlab) the FRF, the natural frequencies and the Modal shapes. At the same time, the 3D model was imported in ANSYS to find out the different simulated Modal shapes. The latters were compared with the experimental ones to evaluate the differences between the Modal shapes obtained through the experimental approach and the ones obtained thanks to the virtual simulation. All this in order to estimate coherence between the different procedures used to obtain the Modal parameters.
Il progetto è iniziato con la creazione (in solidworks) del modello 3D di ruota trabecolare la quale è stata successivamente prodotta utilizzando la stampante FormLabs Form2. In seguito, la ruota è stata sottoposta ad una serie di prove sperimentali attraverso le quali è stato possibile ricavarne (in testlab) le FRF, le frequenze naturali e le forme modali. Parallelamente il modello 3D è stato importato in ANSYS dove è stato analizzato al fine di ottenerne le varie forme modali simulate. Quest’ultime sono state confrontate con quelle sperimentali per valutare le differenze che intercorrono tra le forme modali ottenute attraverso l’approccio sperimentale e quelle ottenute grazie alla simulazione virtuale. Tutto ciò al fine di valutare la coerenza reciproca delle diverse procedure utilizzate per ottenere i parametri modali.
