BACKGROUND The focus of the entire work has been the internship of the nursing students of the Polytechnic University of Marche, of the Pesaro teaching center to improve this experience and make it as educational as possible. To do this, it has been investigated the knowledge of nurses, belonging to the ward of the clinical internship, regarding the functioning of the Degree Course in Nursing and it has been carried out a distance training course for all nurses. In the second phase it was decided to investigate in more depth, with the students of the third year of the course, the formative potential of an internship that provides the shift in 24 hours and different ways to tutor the student. The whole work led to the redesign and proposal of a new didactic calendar. OBJECTIVES To improve the experience of the clinical internship of nursing students creating a distance training course dedicated to nurses who work alongside the student and designing a new teaching calendar for the Nursing degree course in Pesaro MATERIALS AND METHODS The reference population is represented by the students of the Pesaro teaching center of the Polytechnic University of the Marche and by the nurses of the training network of this Degree Course. The FAD course took place from March 21st to December 31st, 2019. Three ad hoc questionnaires had been created: one was administered to the nurses who carried out the proposed course, one to all the nursing students of the reference center and the last one only to third year students. The data of these questionnaires were processed and analyzed through the creation of a database. RESULTS From the analysis of the results of the questionnaires administered to the nursing students and to the nurses who carried out the course, the proposed FAD course "Knowing the Degree course in Nursing to be an active part in the training of future nurses" proved to be extremely effective in filling the knowledge gaps that emerged regarding the structuring of the Degree Course. The analysis of the data of the questionnaires of the third year students showed the need to revalue the didactic calendar and the number of internships in h24 and this led to the design of a new calendar with more periods of clinical practice with a 24-hour shift. LIMITS Poor participation in the proposed FAD course compared to the catchment area, low response rate by nurses and management difficulties in the distance learning platform CONCLUSIONS It is necessary to improve the management of the FAD platform, make nurses more aware of this way of professional updating and bring them closer to the training of nursing students who will be their colleagues in future. It seems essential to investigate the various tutorial models proposed in the literature and verify their applicability in our context.
