Today, the highly competitive and constantly evolving business environment is pushing the markets to become increasingly international and interconnected. A way in which companies can respond to this is through the creation of common and shared methods of communication between those who collaborate in the production process and which inevitably affect the quality of the entire process and the possibility of achieving success. This paper is based on the study of the monitoring and communication process of suppliers performance, since they are business actors that condition the quality of the company's production process. The aim of this dissertation, divided into three chapters, is to improve the process of creating key performance indicators referring to the punctuality and delivery time of suppliers and also to facilitate their understanding, so as to spread greater awareness of how it is necessary to operate in order to obtain positive results and ensure an efficient and lasting relationship in a constantly changing context.
Lo scenario odierno, altamente competitivo ed in continua evoluzione, spinge i mercati a divenire sempre più internazionali ed interconnessi. Ciò richiede alle aziende di creare un linguaggio comune e condiviso fra tutti i soggetti che collaborano alla produzione e che inevitabilmente condizionano la qualità dell’intero processo e la possibilità di raggiungere il successo. Alla base di questo elaborato vi è lo studio del processo di monitoraggio e di comunicazione delle performance dei fornitori, essendo quest’ultimi soggetti che condizionano la qualità del processo di produzione dell’azienda. L’obiettivo di questa tesi, articolata in tre capitoli, è quello di migliorare il processo di creazione degli indicatori riferiti alla puntualità e al tempo di consegna dei fornitori ed anche di agevolarne la comprensione, così da diffondere una maggiore consapevolezza di come bisogna operare per ottenere risultati positivi e garantire una relazione efficiente e duratura in un contesto in continua evoluzione.
