“L’INTEGRAZIONE OSPEDALE-TERRITORIO: GLI EFFETTI DELLA PANDEMIA. LA “VOCE” DEGLI ATTORI DEL SISTEMA SOCIO-SANITARIO”

The pandemic from Covid-19 has had repercussions for third sector organizations, especially those in the social and health field, playing a fundamental role in the voluntary sector. The analysis carried out by this case study concerns the integration of hospital-territory in the period of the pandemic by Covid-19 taking into account the association ONLUS AIL of Ascoli Piceno during the pandemic by Covid-19 in taking care of the most fragile patients and with the aim of understanding their strengths and weaknesses that have been created investigated the role of Third Sector associations to respond to their social and welfare needs and how their approach has changed, the interaction and the difficulty in finding resources to have a continuity at the territorial level. To answer the research question, the study was developed with qualitative research through a semi-structured interview with the protagonists of the association and was born from the affirmation of the Third Sector in responding to the social and health needs of citizens. The answers and the results provided show that the existence of these associations is fundamental for the territory and the hospital because they represent the link between them, but also a support for patients and their families. The request for psychological support is greater because the crisis is not only of physical and social impact, in safety both among professionals and among patients for the fear of being infected and consequently bringing out the biggest concerns that are related to the stability of donations and the suspension of demonstrations and events.

La pandemia da Covid-19 ha portato ripercussioni per le organizzazioni del Terzo settore soprattutto per quelle in ambito socio-sanitario, rivestendo un ruolo fondamentale il settore del volontariato. L’analisi svolta dal presente caso di studio riguarda l’integrazione ospedale-territorio nel periodo della pandemia da Covid-19 prendendo in considerazione l’associazione ONLUS AIL di Ascoli Piceno durante la pandemia da Covid-19 nel prendersi carico dei pazienti più̀ fragili e con l’obbiettivo di comprenderne i punti di forza e di debolezza che si sono creati indagato il ruolo delle associazioni del Terzo settore per rispondere ai loro bisogni socio-assistenziali e di come è cambiato il loro l’approccio, l’interazione e la difficoltà nel reperire risorse per avere una continuità̀ a livello territoriale. Per rispondere alla domanda di ricerca lo studio è stato sviluppato con una ricerca qualitativa attraverso un’intervista semi-strutturata ai protagonisti dell’associazione e nasce dall’ affermazione del Terzo Settore nel rispondere ai bisogni sociali e sanitari dei cittadini. Le risposte e i risultati forniti mostrano che l’esistenza di queste associazioni è fondamentale per il territorio e l’ospedale perché́ rappresentano l’anello di congiunzione di essi, ma anche un supporto per i pazienti e le loro famiglie. È aumentata la richiesta di sostegno psicologico poiché́ la crisi non è solo di impatto fisico e sociale, insicurezza sia tra professionisti che tra pazienti per la paura di essere contagiati e di conseguenza tirando fuori le più̀ grandi preoccupazioni che sono legate alla diminuzione di donazioni e la sospensione di manifestazioni ed eventi.
